UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak: UK govt to ‘lend a hand to pay people’s wages’

The govt is to pay 80% of wages for workers now not operating, up to £2,500 a month, Chancellor Rishi Sunak has introduced.

The “unprecedented” measures have been a part of govt plans to offer protection to people’s jobs all the way through the coronavirus outbreak, he stated.
